                                    Bobby Hill Show Gallery!

Many thanks to all for coming out for the Bobby Hill opening that was held on Saturday, Sept. 13th -- and for welcoming artist Bobby Hill to Virginia Beach with such enthusiasm. The show was absolutely great and the evening was spent talking about the art and the artist behind it-- I think that everybody had an opportunity to talk with the artist and discuss the different pieces on display, as well as sharing thoughts on what went into making the many different statements that each piece was communicating to the viewer.

Many thanks also go out to everyone behind the scenes who put in a lot of work organizing the gallery and preparing the food and drink for the occasion. It was truly an enjoyable evening for all.

Below are just a few moments from the show that we would like to share-- many good memories and a shared appreciation for art are what it's all about. Many thanks again to Bobby Hill for making his way from New York to be with us for this special occasion! Please enjoy the small gallery and we look forward to seeing you at the gallery again soon!

                                     New Art Show News!

Hailing from Harlem, New York, Bobby Hill is known as a painter, screen printer and illustrator. Fascinated by art since childhood, his broad spectrum of life experience, coupled with an experimentation of INNOVATIVE techniques give his work a unique range and depth that is instantly recognizable.

His career began by literally selling the shirt right off his back, as he would go on foot across New York, from the Bronx to Harlem, with a stack of shirts showing off his art style stacked up on his shoulders. Opportunities would later lead to a successful run of editorial illustrations for SLAM and XXL magazines as well as being noticed by Coca-Cola and popular rap artists for his unique style. With a successful run of exhibitions across New York City and a self titled brand of clothing, Bobby Hill has become, not only a recognized and collectable artist-- but a success story worthy of his art.

Now you have an opportunity to view his work in person. Beach Gallery will be featuring Bobby Hill's art from September 8-30, during normal gallery hours--and you are all invited to the Official Show Opening that will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 6pm-8:30pm so that you can meet the Artist himself! Come out and enjoy an evening of art and reflection-- we'll look forward to seeing you there!
